MathXL Tutorial You have to purchase MathXL Student Access code either with your textbook purchase (ISBN: 0555028445 or ISBN: 0321566874) or you may go online to to purchase immediate access using a credit card (click on “Buy now” ). To purchase on-line, you will need: A valid email address Course ID: XL0P-N18H-901Y-8EX2 A valid Credit Card or Pay Pal Account Go through the process of registration. Your username for MathXL, which you have to input during the registration, is your UF e-mail address, that is, your If you have chosen a wrong username, you can correct it after you log in to MathXL by using Edit Account Information link. When you are finished with the registration, log in to MathLab and enroll in your course. Course ID: XL0P-N18H-901Y-8EX2 Now you have to run the Browser Check. You need to install all components except the TestGen plug-in . Refer to the MathXL Help if you have any problems with the installation. View the tour “How to Enter Answers” and tips on entering math notations. Now you are ready to do your Homework. How to begin working on the Assignments: Module 1 – Module 24 Go to Module 1 in Sakai: read the objectives, view the Lecture Presentations, and, after you take the Lecture Quiz in Sakai, proceed to the Homework in MathXL . After completing 80% on L1 HW (Lecture 1 homework), you can take the L1 Quiz in MathXL. This sequence repeats for each Module. Homework Assignments You have to do the homework one problem at a time, but you can work the problems in any order. Make sure that you click on “Submit Work” button when you are finished or when you log out . Otherwise, your work may not be saved.
