Health Care Terminology provides the elements of combining prefixes, roots, and suffixes into the health care vocabulary necessary for a primary health care clinician. STATEMENT OF The purpose of this course is to prepare the student of Chiropractic with an PURPOSE: introduction and overview of many terms and definitions specific to the art, science and philosophy of Chiropractic. The construction of health care terms using word elements (prefixes, roots and suffixes) is only a small portion of the vocabulary necessary for the Chiropractic primary health care provider.
