Phong Le MISSION I have spent a lot of time to think about this, but in a completely different perspective. I used to think that my important mission in this life is to earn money, to help my parents, and even to feed my family in the future. Therefore, I want to have job that can make a lot of money regardless I like it or not (I actually feel very confident that I can study anything in science field). However, I realize that I was completely wrong if I keep thinking that way. Richard N. Bolles, the author of “What color is your parachute?”, is the first one who make me think differently. I think a lot about the second Mission on Earth he suggested which is “to do what you can, moment by moment, day by day, step by step, to make this world a better place, following the leading and guidance of God’s Spirit within you and around you” (p.287). It gives me a big hit to my dream that I live and work not just for myself. Perhaps, the most important outcome of many careers in this world is to make this world become a better place. Moreover, Bolles also gives me a very clear direction that “to do what I can, moment by
