Problem 1 ( 20 points ) A retrograde condensate gas reservoir has been discovered with the following properties: Initial reservoir pressure = 4500 psia Upper dew point pressure of reservoir gas = 2500 psia Reservoir temperature = 180 ºF Reservoir pay thickness = 500 ft Reservoir porosity = 35% Reservoir water saturation = 15% Gas Z factor at initial reservoir pressure = 0.873 Reservoir area = 9000 acres Calculate the initial gas in place in standard cubic ft.
