Excerpt To strengthen international pressure on Iran the United States needs to work with its allies and other important nations to figure out what can be put forward that most or all will agree to. Feelers should be put out in all nations seen as important, EU members, Brazil, Russia, and China, stand out. After some information is gathered on what each nation will accept a plan for sanctions can be put together that will garner support. Also OPEC nations need to be consulted to assure other nations that they will not lose fuel and their economies will not be inured by putting pressure on Iran a trade partner with many countries. Using reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency may also be a way to get support for more pressure on Iran with their noncompliance to international atomic regulations.
