Jasmine Hill BLS 465 Assignment #4- Moral Hierarchy When comparing a 55 year old embezzler and a recent Miami University graduate, their stages of experience and morality are at two different levels simply because the Miami graduate is less experienced not only in the work force but also in life experience as well. The embezzler will have more hard defined morals whereas the recent grad will be able to be molded more. When comparing the Miami University graduate to Kohlberg’s hierarchy, they would more than likely be teetering between conventional morality and post conventional morality. When you receive your first job your main goal is to do your job well and please those above you. This trait would place the graduate in stage 4 of the hierarchy. A recent graduate is very vulnerable to the influence of those in higher positions. This is not necessarily a bad trait because if the upper management shows good morals than a new hire will most likely mimic these traits. After some time it seems reasonable that the Miami graduate moving into stage 5 of the
