Unformatted text preview: Jasmine Hill FSW 365 October 6, 2011 I Want 5 Points I consider myself to be in the higher fifty percent of girls when it comes to knowledge of sports yet I am extremely shocked that I have never heard of Renee Richards before. I can hardly believe that there was such a scandal like this in professional sports especially at that period in time. After watching this documentary there are a few things that are not sitting well in my mind. First off, I played basketball in high school and I can honestly say that I do not feel comfortable with the decision to let Renee compete against women. I am completely open to transgender and homosexual individuals so it is not because I am uncomfortable with Renee as a person; it is just competitively I see it as unfair. A male has to be extremely talented and athletic to be able to be ranked as one of the top professional tennis players in the world.
