ACTIVITY: BECOMING SELF-EFFICACIOUS This activity will help you feel more confident that you can manage the stress you experience. Researchers tell us that there are several effective ways to increase self-efficacy. One of these is modeling. If you see someone else managing stress, you are more likely to believe you can manage it, too. All you need to do is model your behavior on this other person's. In addition, if you practice stress management skills—developing a history of using them—you will be more apt to believe you can employ them successfully.
