Kendrick Daniel Operations Strategy October 14, 2010 TD Canada Trust (C) Question 1 The changes made to the branch scorecard will be effective in facilitating the operational execution of the “comfortable banking” service model because the changes make the data more understandable to the employees of TD Canada Trust. The employees are better able to realize what improvements are necessary to improve or maintain the CSI of the branch. The changes made to the scorecard are listed below: Color Coded Behaviors – With the new branch scorecard, behaviors are color coded based on performance levels. This allows employees to easily see how they are performing in each of the categories that are used to compute the CSI. The employees are able to see which categories need improvement, which need room to improve and which are necessary to maintain the current level of performance. This color coded system allowed TD Canada Trust to easily compile branch reports based on the results of the branch scorecard. Number of Measurements
