Problem sets must be handed in to TA Shirley Pon as hard copies. Those received after 11:05 AM on October 19th will be marked as one day late. 1. This question examines Craig Burnside and David Dollars (2000) paper Aid, Poli- cies, and Growth. The table reports results from regressions of growth in GDP per capita on a large number of variables; they are particularly interested in the empirical relationship between foreign aid and economic growth. Data comes from 56 countries, each of which is observed over a period of many years. (a) According to the table, which factors are significant associated with GDP growth with at least 95 percent statistical confidence? Which factors predict faster growth and which factors predict slower growth? 1 point....
