A few aspects of the responsibilities of The World Health Organization include setting up and planning research, supporting countries by collecting and analyzing health trends, and giving leadership on world-wide health. According to the World Health Organization constitution, its main objective is “the attainment by all people of the highest possible level of health.” Consisting of 193 member-states, the WHO represents 191 countries in the UN, as well as Niue and the Cook Islands. The WHO also includes Associate Members, Observers, and non- members who have limited right and responsibilities in the organization.
