Commands Issued for SYSOUT Selection Command Description S Browse the SYSOUT. You will only be able to do this only if the SYSOUT is stored on disk. (DISK or TEMP) If it is only found on tape, you will get ‘NO MOUNT AUTHORITY’ in the upper right corner. You will need to use the ‘L’ command first to load it to disk. L Creates JCL to temporarily reload SYSOUT from tape to disk. (Basically the equal of a RESTORE in WSF2.) To submit the JCL created, enter ‘SUBMIT’ on the command line.

When the job finishes the LOC field will show ‘TEMP’, meaning it is temporarily located on disk. P Prints the SYSOUT. You will only be able to do this for SYSOUT that is on disk.
