Within this paper, I intend to identify a group that I belong to or have great knowledge of. I also intend to define what makes this group effective. I will show how the dimensions of group participation are exhibited and how they contribute towards groups’ effectiveness. I am a member of a motorcyle club here in Atlanta, Georgia. We’re a tight knit group whom ride together as often as possible. Our club is somewhat of a small subsidiary of a national branch of riders from across the United States. We started our own branch just for fun and decided that it could benefit us as well as our community if we “gave back” Not only would it be beneficial to us for personal reasons but it would also shed a positive light on other motorcycle clubs that get a negative “rap”. Our vision is to remain a lawful motorcyle club and try to expand our membership to other positive role models which include men and women of all races. We thrive to have
