Brad Rogers BRAE 129 Fork Lift Safety 25 May 2010 Forklifts are tool that is used to help people move heavy objects with ease, however if they are not used correctly then they can be very dangerous to the people operating them and the people around them. Forklifts are large pieces of equipment the can carry very heavy loads. If either the load or the forklift were to tip or fall on someone it could cause extreme harm or death. Forklifts need to be operated in a safe way and in safe conditions. When using a forklift you need to do a pre-check to make sure that everything is in working condition and that it is safe to use. After this you need to become acquainted with the way the forklift works. After you have done both of these things you need to check your load and the conditions you will be driving in and determine what the best way to come at it is. Driving a forklift was somewhat hard.
