Brad Rogers Professor Truelsen English 134 14 January 2010 Interview Response Essay Ed is a graduate student from Cal Poly who originally grew up in Chicago, spent some time in Sacramento, and got his undergraduate degree in New York. During his time in New York Ed got two tattoos. The first tattoo he got was the Clingon symbol from the show Star trek and it is on his left shoulder. The second tattoo that Ed got was of a hammer and has the words “The strangest bit it yet forthcoming” written below the hammer, this tattoo is located on his right forearm. Ed seemed to have a lot to say about why he got his tattoos and what they represented to him in his life. Ed was a very outgoing man who also seemed to have a lot to say about his life. He is a published writer and is currently in the process of writing another story. He seems to be a happy man and is happy with both the tattoos he has. Ed’s first tattoo, the Clingon symbol from Star trek “actually has a funny story behind it”
