Weekly Objectives Week One: Hour 1 Subjective: Introduction, explanation of course, format of exams (written and orals). Objective: An overview of entire course with emphasis on written and oral examinations. Hour 2 Subjective: Physical examination of the shoulder, inspection. Objective: To outline and explain various clinical findings which may be apparent upon inspection of the shoulder. Week Two: Hour 1 Subjective: Physical examination of the shoulder; inspection, bony palpation, soft tissue palpation, range of motion, neurological examination, and special tests. Objective: To outline and explain various clinical findings which may be apparent upon inspection of the shoulder. To detail the bony components of the shoulder and explain how each may be palpated. To explain soft tissue components of the shoulder and how each may be palpated. To explain the various components of the ranges of motion for the shoulder. To explain the neurological concepts of the shoulder and its relationship to chiropractic. Hour 2 Subjective: Special tests of the shoulder. Objective: To explain the special tests of the shoulder as to; patient position, doctor position, positive signs, and indications. Week Three:
