It contains videos of Dr. Blumenfeld conducting the neurological exam. Cranial Nerve Quiz A cute little quiz about cranial nerve functions are thrown at you and you must match the correct nerve to that function. You pick by highlighting the nerve in the column on the left, then clicking on Check Answer. Good review for exam #2 National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke This site has an extensive list of neurological symptoms and pathologies (alphabetized) and clinical pictures. Neuroland Neurology information for physicians & health professionals Real Eye Simulator This site allows the clinician to view the action of the eyes with various combinations of cranial nerve and yoke muscle lesions. Carrick Institute Ths is the website for the Carrick Institute, which offers the Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology. House Discussion As you are well aware, Dr. Amos is a big fan of the Fox TV show House starring Hugh Laurie as the incredibly arrogant, phenomenally eccentric, and astoundingly brilliant Dr. Gregory House. The cases presented in the show are very complex, but by this point in your education, much of the vocabulary, testing, and pathologies should be familiar territory. If you wish further information, this website provides discussion of the rational for tests ordered and accuracy of case presentation. Neuroquiz A nice quiz- tutorial to review CNS General Practice Notebook Online Contains a variety of anatomical and pathological considerations for the systems of the body, including a section on, of course, the nervous system. Medline Tutorials An excellent site sent to me by Dr. King has numerous conditions presented in this class and others, diagnostics and wellness discussions. The site is interactive tutorials in alphabetized categories- well worth a look. Neuroanatomy and Pathology Great links site - has dissections of nervous system pathology, MRIs and CTs. It is a series of flash presentation about the way we perceive the world both at the sensory organ and as it interpreted in the brain. Med's Physiology This is another course by Tutis Villis about the function of the brain.
