Paper Guidelines Required Format: Papers must be 4 pages and double-spaced. Use 1” margins on the top and bottom and at least 1” margins on the left and right Cite sources in your paper and include a bibliography. 12-point font size must be used with a Serif font such as Times or Garamond Include your name, paper title, date, and class information on the first page of your paper. Please include page numbers, but do not include a title page. Staple or butterflyclip all pages. Style and Structure: Before beginning your paper, it is recommended that you read through the sections of the textbook that are relevant to your topic. This will allow you to explore some of the fundamental sociological theories in the field and will provide you with an explanation of concepts to incorporate into your writing. It is REQUIRED that you cite at least one (and preferable more) of the following sources in your paper and include them in your bibliography: the Henslin textbook, readings from the course packet, lecture notes with specific dates, or pre-approved sociological texts. Please be consistent with the citation and bibliographic format you utilize. For example, provide the reader with the author’s name and year of publication in the text and the full
