Unformatted text preview: devices on the conveyer belts. While there, I suggested that we test the IRDs around a corner bend of a conveyer belt. This test showed three main impacts from the connecting ramp, the bottom surface of the conveyer, and the sidewall. This proved that the IRDs could respond to multiple impacts at a time, and therefore work with real world scenarios. The film of this test was a significant part of our class presentation. Overall I kept record of the data collected and produced a power point presentation to present to the class. The project was successful and the department was pleased to find the impact recording devices running smoothly and accurate for future needs.
