Calculate the mechanical and electrical power and energy conversion efficiency Measure the AC real power, apparent power, reactive power and calculate the power factor Equipment: Clamp-on Ammeter Handheld DMM AC induction motor Dynamometer Wattmeter Oscilloscope Data: Distance from center of the generator shaft to the spring scale: 0.5ft Test 1 with ½ Hp motor Test 2 with ½ Hp motor and Capacitance value: 50mF (parallel) Test 3 with ½ Hp motor and with Men's Correctional Facility device Photos of setup including the connections to the Ammeter, Voltmeter, and wattmeter:
