Serena Sandoval DeVry of Anaheim ENG 112 Vehicle Sales Consultants and the Customer A customer that had a bad experience at a car dealership; it is imbedded in their minds for a long period of time. It is the same as it goes with the vehicle sales consultant. The vehicle sales consultant, too, remembers the customer that gave them a hard time. Although vehicle sales consultants and customers are people and need each other to make a sale, they both have a lot of differences such as the their perspectives about each other, the way they learn about cars, and the way they rotate through cars. The customer first goes into a dealership lot then automatically, a wall goes up. Right as soon as walk the vehicle sales consultant approaches them with a smile and greeting. “Welcome to Miller Toyota of Anaheim! Have you been helped? Is there something you are looking for?” Vehicle Sales Consultants already have bad reputation towards customers. Many customers think vehicle sales consultant is a “Devil’s Job”.
