Plagiarism is when you use somebody else’s work as your own. The only person at fault for plagiarizing isthat specific person if they are intentionally stealing somebody else’s work to pass off as their own. Ibelieve that there are two reasons why students plagiarize; they are intentionally stealing somebodyelse’s work to use as their own or they don’t realize that they are plagiarizing because they don’t knowhow to properly cite the information in their paper. Plagiarism can be avoided by knowing how toproperly cite your paper and by receiving concise information about plagiarism and the consequences.In this specific case study, there are two people at fault, the two students who intentionally usedsomebody else’s work to pass of as their own. One point that I would like to make about this case studythough is that Reggie and Arnie did not think that they were doing anything wrong, Sally did warn Reggie
