Basic Course Information Prerequisites: Math 2144 (Calculus I) Textbook and Content: Calculus Early Transcendentals (Custom Edition for Oklahoma State University), by James Stewart, Cengage Learning, Volume II, May 2008, You Need to purchase a copy of the book along with an access code for using WebAssign. You need to enter this access code within the first two weeks or you will not be able to use WebAssign after this introductory period. This is second course in the basic Calculus sequence for engineering and science students. We will cover Chapter 710 of the text. Integration by parts, trigonometric integrals and substitution, integration of rational functions by partial fractions, improper integrals, arc length, area of surface (revolutions); sequences, series, various tests of (absolute) convergence and divergence, power series, Taylor and Maclaurin series; curves defined by parametrics, polar coordinates and Conic sections.
