So, this is the fine print. The exams will consist of a total of 50 questions (multiple choice, T/F, matching) at 2 points apiece. The test includes the relevant lectures and chapters outlined below. The exam will be weighted a bit more toward lecture than the book. Below is a list of important terms and concepts that are essential for success on the exam. EXAM 2 Religion (lectures+Chapter 5) -world religion numbers -world religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam -Sunni v. Shia Islam -Hearths -Religious Landscapes -US religions; US Protestant religions (ranks) -colonial regions (three, know definition, religions, etc) -US developments -present day regions (map and list on D2L) Agriculture (lectures+Chapter 11): -Percentage of world population in agriculture -swidden cultivation -intercropping (intertillage) -subsistence agriculture -paddy rice farming
