Topic: “Anatomy and topography of the Abdominal Aorta: unpaired branches, paired parietal and visceral branches, supply regions, anastomoses between them. The system of the Inferior Caval Vein: forming, topography, tributaries. The Portal vein: its roots, topography. Cava-caval and porto-caval anastomoses. Lymphatic vessels & nodules of walls and organs of the Abdominal cavity.” 2. Aim of practical is: to teach the students to name and show the branches of the abdominal aorta, anastomoses between them, it is nessessary to teach the students to understand the regions of the blood supply and topography. To teach the students to find and show the Inferior Caval Vein and The Portal vein, their tributaries; to teach the students to understand the topography, formation of the cava-caval and porto-caval anastomoses; the lymphatic drainage of walls and organs of the Abdominal cavity.” 3. The objectives: 1. The topography of the abdominal aorta 2. Unpaired branches of the abdominal aorta, supply regions 3. Parietal and paired visceral branches of the abdominal aorta, supply regions 4. Anastomoses between branches of the abdominal aorta (arterial arches of stomach and intestine) 5. Relation and tributaries of the inferior vena cava 6. Relation and tributaries of the portal vein 7. Cava-caval and porto-caval anastomoses.
