The methodical instruction for lesson № 9 On biochemistry for students 2 course by specialty "General medicine " from September, 15 till September, 2008 - 2009 year. The theme: Metabolism and functions of carbohydrates. The main questions of the theme: 1. Metabolism of glycogen biosynthesis and catabolism. The role of adrenaline in the regulation of these processes (cascade mechanism ) 2. Regulation the level of glucose in the blood 3. Same privet pathways carbohydrates metabolism 4. Disorders of carbohydrates metabolism . Glygenolisis and glycogenosis. Questions for independent work 1. Basic carbohydrates of animals tisues, theirs structure and biological role. 2. Carbohydrates of structural and functional components of cells. Laboratory work. 1. Allocation of a glycogen from a liver and study of it properties. 2. Opening of sialic acids. Work 1 Course of work: a/ Take 3 tubes and add in first 1 ml distilled water, in second - 1 ml filtrate of full animals, in third - 1 ml filtrate of hungry animals.

Unformatted text preview: After this add in all tubes solution iodine and absorve different of color. b/ In 3 tubes pour in by 10 drops filtrate of hungry of animals and then in first tube add 10 drops of alcohol solution, in second tube add the powder of ammonium sulfate, in third tube add the solution of Pb ( CH 3 COO) 2 and then absorve the formation of sediment. Take and do theirs reactions with filtrate full /non hungry / of animals. Work 2. Opening of sialic acids. a/ Reaction with acetic-sulphuric acid. Course of work: In tube pour in 5 drops of saliva and 20 drops of acetic-sulphuric acid. Mix up, then put the tube in boiling water for 30 minute. After this observe the formation of brown-pink color. Result: Conclusion: b/ Reaction with diphenilamin reagent. Course of work: In tube pour in 5 drops of saliva, 20 drops of diphenilamin reagent. After mixing put the tube in boiling water for 30 minutes. After this observe formation of blue - violet color....
