Study of topic promotes, forms knowledge of the composition, structures and biological role α-amino acid, peptide andprotein, for study to biological function of protein on molecular level. 3. Plane and thesis of lecture: 3.1. Plane of lecture 1. Structure of amino acid, classification. Isomerism. 2. Ways of formation amino acids in living organism. 3. Physical, chemical properties of amino acids. 4. Concept about peptide, its biological significance. 5. Structure of peptide bond. 6. Proteins, classification, level of organization, biological role. 7. Hemoglobin – as representative of chromoproteins. 8. Qualitative reaction of α–amino acids. 3.2. Thesis of lecture Classification, structure and isomerism of amino acids. Common formula: R-CH-COOH | NH 2 Amino acids are derivatives of carbon acids, in radicals of which one or several atoms of hydrogen are substituted for one or several aminogroups. Classification: 1. Monoaminocarbonic acids 2. Monoaminodecarbonic acids 3. Deaminocarbonic acids 4. Oxyaminoacids 5. Sulphunic aminoacids 6.
