No tie to the royal line thus his successors have to take these same measures a.iii. Changes Introduced by Amenhemet I and His Fmaily: a.iii.1. Capital moved from Memphis to It-Towy in the Fayyum a.iii.1.a. Allows them to set up their own identity and face of power…very wise move because it was basically a founded city a.iii.2. Co-regency introduced to protect the ruling line from rival claimants to the throne and introduces a co-regent: Senusert I this was the first time this was ever done.
