Townspeople enter talking as Town crier makes his way through them, ringing bell. Town crier- Hear ye! Hear ye! I bid ye all welcome to this special assembly from year (?) about the life of our  monarch King Henry VIII. Courtier 1 steps forward through crowd. Courtier 1- We hope that you will learn, laugh and perhaps even shed a tear when you hear the story of one of  the most famous Kings in English history. Courtier 2 steps forward through crowd. Courtier 2- Henry VIII was born in 1491. Young Henry enjoyed a life of pleasure; As next part happens, have   a child mime the following actions) he enjoyed dancing, poetry, horseback riding and hunting deer and boar. Courtier 2 steps forward through crowd. Courtier 3- This is the year of our Lord 1509, in which we see the young Henry Tudor(Henry VII and Henry   VIII step forward to take places) at a very sad but also, hark ye, very important moment in his young life.  Henry VII lays on the floor, dying, surrounded by courtiers, Thomas Wolsey and with young Henry VIII   holding his father’s hand. Henry VII- (Having difficulty to speak) There is one thing that you must promise my son. Young Henry VIII- Anything my father.
