Unformatted text preview: The University of Waterloo is a famous and respected university. Every year, it cultivates millions of thousands of students for the society. Not only does the university input the students knowledge, however it also encourages their creativities through its special education way. The students graduating from it could fulfil their potentials and receive approval from the society. I have applied to the Life Science co-op program. One of the many reasons I chose this program is because I want to pursue a career in the medical field. Medical professions are very respectable and an honoured field of expertise. The passion that drives me to this field is derived from various life experiences. The career I want to pursue is to become a doctor, to be more specific a cardiologist. There are many factors pertaining to why I want to pursue this specific kind of career. One reason is because a few years ago, my aunt died to lack of proper treatment and medication. Although, she was going to surgery for her throat, she was accidently given the wrong amount of anaesthesia. Another family member that was hospitalized was my father. He had fainted due to lack of sleep and malnutrition. Although, he is fine and has recovered from that incident, it impelled me to pursue a career in the medical field whether it be in the pharmacy...
