What if you have feelings against the client’s position? Answer- Allowing one’s personal feelings to be expressed when working on a case causes an ethical issue. Legal professionals have to be able to put their feelings aside, remain unbiased and keep an open-mind, otherwise it becomes a problem. A legal professional has to provide the very best representation for the client and if feelings get in the way, then it would be best to be removed off the case. As a legal professional there are going to be clients that will be against the issue at hand, but it is your responsibility to be able to have an open-mind while on the case. 2) Does the American system of law depend on the legal team to put aside its personal beliefs and work diligently on unpopular cases or issues? How does this ensure equal justice and allow for change in the system? Answer- The American system of law depends on the legal team to be able to put the personal beliefs so that unpopular cases or issues can also have an equal justice. Every case or issue is entitled to a fairness of the law. Legal professionals have to be able to their beliefs aside to ensure equal justice because when feelings become an issue their job performance suffers. Everyone has the right to be represented equally and have a fair trial. In order for there to be equal justice is by everyone involved must have an open-mind and remain unbiased. This allows for change in the system because everything is looked at from all sides, which then each case can be looked at
