Executives’ at large companies may have a different option when it comes to computers. Instead of buying computers and then individual software for each employee, there is an application that would allow workers to log into a web-based system that hosts all the programs the employee would need. This application is called cloud computing, where the entire work load is taken of the local computers and placed on the “cloud” or separate network of computers. The only thing the user’s computer must do is be able to operate the cloud computing systems interface software. There are two parts of cloud computing: the front end and the back end. The front end is what the user sees, consisting of the user’s computer and applications required for use of the cloud network. The back end is what the cloud is made up of, consisting of the necessary computers, servers and data storage systems. Cloud computers have the ability to run
