Introduction Previously, Microsoft Windows 98 and Microsoft Windows 2000 were used by the students and the authorities in Universiti Utara Malaysia. Currently, due to the invention and improvement of new technology, students and the authorities in Universiti Utara Malaysia switched to use either Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsoft Windows XP. The Windows XP’s name “XP” is short for “experience”. Windows XP is the successor to both Windows 2000 Professional and Windows Me, and is the first consumer-oriented operating system produced by Microsoft to be built on the Windows NT kernel and architecture.
