Narrator 1:  Welcome to 3R’s assembly, we hope you enjoy it. (All children recite ‘Oh I wish I’d looked me teeth’ by Pam Ayres.) N 2: Year 3 have been learning all about teeth and healthy eating and they have  a  few words of advice.  N3: 3R presents, All:   Lucy and the Dentist,  N4 : A cautionary tale.  (Lucy walks onto the stage). N5: Lucy was a young girl like many others, she loved to play games like skipping,  basketball and tennis. Unfortunately, what Lucy loved most of  all was sweet things. N7: She loved chocolate, lollilops and gobstoppers galore. N8 : She drank cola, fanta, cherryade and milk shakes. N9: She loved éclairs, muffins, bakewells, jamtarts and jellies. (Sugar song) N10: Her mother warned her. (Mum steps forward to Lucy.) Mum: You’ll be sorry. N10 : But she just didn’t care. All: She just LOVED sweets. All: And she never brushed her teeth, euugh! ( Lucy pretends to eat and enjoy sweets.) N1: One day, Lucy’s sweet tooth taught her a valuable lesson. N2: While happily chomping on some sweet sticky toffee, something strange  happened to Lucy. (Lucy groans in pain and clutches her jaw.)
