Sept 21, 2011 @ 12:00pm (noon) NO Late submission is accepted! Problem description: Write a program that asks the user to enter an integer value for and then calculate the value for the following polynomial: For example: Please input an integer value for x: -1 The value of the polynomial for x = -1 is: -32 You may need to use the Horner’s Rule , which decompose the polynomial like this: (((( ) ) ) ) Note that this will perform fewer multiplications, instead of doing to get . Another way to deal with this problem is to use the pow() function of math.h library to calculate . To use this function, you will need to include math.h in the header of your source code file. A simple reference for some useful functions and libraries can be found here: http://www.acm.uiuc.edu/webmonkeys/book/c_guide/ You can choose either way to evaluate the polynomial, or even your own way.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
