COP 3275 Programming Using C Language, Fall 2011 Catalog Description: Credits: 3; Prereq: MAC 1147 or the equivalent. Problems related to a variety of disciplines are solved. An introduction to the basic concepts of software and hardware is provided. Goals: This course covers the introduction and overview of C Programming Lan- guage. Basic and advanced features are covered with the requirements of programming assignments. Throughout the lectures and programming assignments, students are ex- pected to master the C programming language. Prerequisites: MAC 1147 or the equivalent. Meeting Times and Location: 10:40am-11:30am Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in CSE E119. Regular lecture attendance is recommended: . We will randomly choose up-to 10 lectures to check your attendance. Each attendance check accounts for one bonus-point of your final grade. Required Textbook: “C Programming: A Modern Approach”, by K. N. King, Sec- ond Edition, W.W. Norton, 2008. Cell Phone Policy: Cell phones should be turned off during the lecture hours to provide the quite learning environment for every student in the classroom.
