Juan Torres December 1, 2009 Specific Purpose: to persuade my audience that drug should be regulated in the world. Central Idea: the most horrible problems today are caused by the illegal drug-trafficking which is caused by drug abuse around the world. In order to stop all of the problems drug trade and drug abuse cause to the people, drugs should be regulated around the world. Introduction Who smokes? Who drinks more than one beer at a party? Well, you have 9 times higher probabilities to consume illegal drugs than a person who dost not smoke or drink alcohol. Sadly, as a Colombian, I have faced the social problems drugs-trafficking cause around the world. The main causes for the illegal drug trafficking are drug abuse and prohibition. Moreover, there are many healths, economic, and social problems related to drug abuse and drug trafficking. I believe the solution for these problems is in front of us, but there is no worst blind but the one who doesn’t want to see.
