Horwich1 Jenna Horwich English 250 5/6/10 Closing Reflection English 250 has broadened by writing capabilities to a new level. This course has also helped me strengthen my oral, visual and electronic communication. I feel as though I have grown in these areas, but there is definitely a lot more room to expand. With the repetition, helpful assignments, and presentations this course has heightened my own self-standards and I am ready to make them even higher. Writing has never been painful for me to do. I enjoyed expressing myself through the written word. I have never been faced with having to write strictly in third person, or in an analysis type format. This form of writing was a struggle for me, because I love and in habit am so used to putting myself into the paper. My struggles were mainly length. I had a hard time writing a long enough analysis, I felt as though I would just be repeating myself if I attempted to continue the paper. Throughout this semester I feel as though I have grown in this area.
