Kaitlin McCann Km123807@ohio.edu Iart 118: Paper #4 This week, I attended to the O.A.R concert at Templeton Blackburn Memorial Auditorium here at Ohio University. Although I didn’t know much about the band, my friends were going and I thought it would be a great opportunity to explore another kind of art that I have not yet done. When I think of art, I tend to think of an actual piece, or something that can be visually seen. Little do you think about music, yet after seeing this show, I quickly changed those thoughts. The concert was packed to what seemed like a sold out show. The energy was awesome as fans anticipated the music, which I could tell, they had a deep love for and connection with. When O.A.R, short for Of A Revolution, finally came on stage everyone was yelling hysterically. Not being a big fan of the group, I was excited to hear what they were all about but did not think that I would gain such a fun, positive, and great learning experience from this concert.
