Unformatted text preview: Gaming 360 Spring 2007: McDaniel/Telep Gaming Journal Assignment Due Dates: Journals will be due at the beginning of each class period. They may not always be collected, but they will be used for class discussions. Your final journals will be collected on April 9, 2007 and will be graded for completion and commitment. Description Your gaming journal should be a handwritten account of your experiences in playing the game you identify during the first week of classes. Your journal should be kept in a composition book (one with a marble cover or a similar model of the exact same size). You should keep this journal beside you at all times as you play your selected game. You will use the journal to jot down impressions, emotions, insights, and observations about the virtual world, its characters, and your experiences with the gameplay and narrative elements. It is not expected that you produce a polished, edited piece at this point, but rather that you collect ideas and insights that can then be used in class discussion and in your more formal assignments...
