Term Project: Google+ Macro environmental Factors – Jena Hartman Level I: Global Business Community – Macro environmental Factors A. Society/Subcultures Google+ is a worldwide business, which operates globally. Many customers are familiar with Google.com for searching the World Wide Web. The company must be familiar with a variety of societies and subcultures in order to ensure their internal employees consist of diverse backgrounds as understand what type of society their target market group consists of. Either way, the company will ensure they are providing superior customer service from the regular Google.com to the Google+ newly created services. B. Demographics / Socio cultural Google+’s target demographic is focusing in on businesses building their brand. This approach will be similar to Facebook and LinkedIn where business are able to create their own profile and starting linking with their target market. They are looking to use the business tool to really get Google+ going. During a recent study this last year researchers found that a large-scale of consumers will be adopting the Google+ social network and in turn will influence the real-time search data (Fletcher. 2011). 2
