Remember, you should be sure also to read and attend especially to noted items in chapters 13 and 14 as we did not fully cover these in class. Slides from Dr. Stanford on women in leadership are also included. STUDY GUIDE FOR FINAL EXAM 334, Fall 2010: The final will cover chapters 11 thru 14 in your book and related materials from class. Be sure to read/outline the last chapters carefully because we will not be able to cover all the material in class. As usual, about 70% of the questions will come directly from material presented or highlighted in class. The rest will be from your chapter reading. Pay particular attention to the following in your studies: Chapter 11: What is Menopause?, When does it occur? What are the symptoms experienced and how is the experience culturally affected?; What is osteoporosis and what factors contribute to it/protecting against it?; Calcium needs; empty nest syndrome; images of older women; HRT pros and cons and bio-identical hormones Chapter 12: Masters & Johnson, and Kinsey studies and findings (and criticisms of each); stages of sexual arousal/response...
