THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST2The miraculous birth of JesusDuring the time of the emperor Caesar Augustus, the universe was to enroll. It was the first time of enrolment when the governor of Syria was Quirinus. Everyone had to go to their particular cities to be registered. So, Joseph and Mary had to go to their town, the city of David, Bethlehem because Joseph belonged in David’s lineage Since Mary was expecting a child, the time for the unborn to be born. Mary delivered her baby boy whom she swaddled in swaddling cloths and laid him in a feeding trough because there was no place for her to deliver. At that sametime that night, there were shepherds in their religion who were in the field, who were keeping on watching over their sheep. Around them, they were shone with the Lord's glory after the angelappeared to the shepherds sent by the Lord; the shepherds were filled with anger and fear(Beecher, 2010). The angel said unto the shepherds, “Do not be frightened because I am bringing in good reports filled with a lot of great joy to people in the world, In Bethlehem, a messiah has been born by the name Jesus, the son of God. When you reach in the city, you will find a baby lying in a manger and swaddled in wrapping cloth that is the sign for you”. And later, the shepherds were with a heavenly host and the angel glorifying and praising God, saying, "Glory to God in the highest on earth peace among men with the whom he is pleased” (Luke 2:1-20 NIV Bible). And the Lord's angels returned into heaven and left the shepherds alone who were saying to one another, "let’s go over to Bethlehem." Without wasting time, they hurried off to Bethlehem, where they found Joseph, Mary, and the baby in a manger lying there. After seeing baby Jesus, they spread out the word that concerned what the angel had told them about the baby Jesus. All the people who heard the shepherds’ message were surprised, bur mother Jesus pondered them in her heart and felt treasured with all that, and the shepherds went back praising and glorifying the Almighty.
