1 Last Thursday two very nice ladies came into our class room for first year odyssey and explained to us a few ways to promote better time management, create better study habits and to avoid getting behind in our classes in our first year of college. They explained the importance of flash cards before a test and they stressed why it is imperative that every student have a student day planner to keep track of all their assignments. They told us about this link on the LaSalle portal called “tutortrac” which offers specialized assistance to any student in any subject at specific time intervals throughout the week by upper classmen who did well in that particular class. The ladies explained that tutortrac is not a resource used by only students who are struggling in school; but also students who are doing very well in their classes who want to maintain their good grades. For example, some students who use tutortrac are B students who want to study hard so they can achieve the A.
