This article follows one man’s journey from one end of the country to the other as well as his viewpoints on capital punishment, from one end of the spectrum to the other. Living in New York City this man was against the death penalty; but, after moving to California to become a Chaplain at a maximum security prison, he became an extreme supporter of something he was once against. After three years in this prison, three years of seeing inmates who were not “too concerned about their victims or their victim’s families,” he went home to New York with a new stance on the death penalty.
