Wizard of Oz – Critical Summary Chapter 24 – Home Again In chapter 24 of “The wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum (1900) when Dorothy backed home, she saw her aunt Em stood beside the door. Her aunt was very happy to see Dorothy again. The book of “The wonderful Wizard of Oz” is taking about an ordinary girl travel around the Land of Oz When Dorothy back home, she will feel exciting. She will look around and try to find what was changed when she was not at home. Dorothy had learned a lot, such as how to take care of herself, how to make friends with others, how to conquer difficulties, and how to take care of others through her experiences. During me living in Dalian, I also changed a lot. I learned how to manage money, how to take care of myself, how to live without parents, how to develop the relationship with classmates and roommates. Dorothy was brought to the land of Oz. her house killed the wicked witch of the east. Because of this, she became the hero of munchkins. Under the help of the witch
