Feng Huang FengHuang is an ancient town in the border of western of Hunan province. Maybe most people had known it in Sheng Congwen’s article Biancheng. This small, quiet city is famous for its beautiful landscape, attractive ethnic flavor, and it is also the birthplace of several famous Chinese personages. Two years ago, I fell in love with this old city when I went to FengHuang with my father. I loved most of things in FengHuang, which made me don’t want to leave. First, the landscape of FengHuang is very beautiful and special. A New Zealand writer Rewi Alley had said that Fenghuang is the most beautiful town in China. FengHuang is surrounded by mountains and girdled by the Tuojiang River. In the morning, FengHuang’s view is very beautiful as fairyland. The fogs covered mountains, the air is fresh, and the river is clear and green. Some people carry bamboo baskets on their back and wash their clothes beside the river. As Song zuying’s song Xiaobeilou refer to, we could imagine how industrious the people live
