Chapter 14 The Winged Monkeys In chapter 14 of “The wonderful wizard of Oz” by Frank Baum (1900), Dorothy and her friends lost their way to Emerald City, but under the help of Queen of Mice and Winged Monkeys, they reached Emerald City at last. Dorothy and her friends wanted to go to Emerald City, but they could not find the way to this city. They kept walking for a few days, but they still can’t find the road. During the way they went to Emerald City, the King of Monkeys explained the reason why all those Monkeys should listen to whom own the Golden Cap three times that made Dorothy feel very interested. It was all because of the King of Monkeys’ grandfather. He made fun of Quelala, the person who was loved by Gayelette, the princess who has great power.
