Lab 8 – assigned 11/27, due 12/9 at 11:59pm. This is our last lab, and will serve as a summary of the entire class, to get you ready for the final exam. The final exam will contain questions derived directly from this exercise. If you accomplish this lab and Lab 7, you can pretty much cruise during finals weekend. We will exercise the following concepts: - User input / output - Calling library functions - Writing our own functions - Arrays - Binary numbers The objective: write a program to do the following: ************************************* * * * 1. Solve a Quadratic Equation * * 2. Generate a Random Number * * 3. Calculate Your Lab Average * * 4. Translate # of Bits into * * Largest Binary Number * * 5. Exit * * * ************************************* 1. Solve the general quadratic equation ax 2 + bx + c = 0 . Take a, b, and c as input from the user. 2. Ask the user for a maximum number, in the range 1 through 32,767. Return a random number in that range. Hint: You might want to use the built-in random number generator – rand() .
