Welcome to PHY-158 The first laboratory session for PHY-158 will be on Tuesday, September 6 th , and every lab week will run from Tuesday to the following Monday. This means that if you registered for a Tuesday section, your first meeting will be Tuesday, September 6 th and if you registered for a Wednesday section, your first meeting will be Wednesday, September 7 th right through to Monday’s first meeting on Monday, September 12 th . Lab meets once per week. The room number on your schedule is meaningless-you MUST read the syllabus to find out what room your lab will be in. Labs are generally in a different room every week. See the last page of the syllabus for more details. The textbook for this class (Mechanics and Electricity Laboratory Manual for Physics 158 , 3 rd Edition.) is available at the bookstore, and should be brought to every session. It is expected that you will read all relevant materials in the lab text and here on UBLearns prior to coming to class.
